In the real world, Dorothy (Dorothy Dwan) learns from her Aunt Em (Mary Carr) her true heritage and that she is truly Princess Dorothea of Oz. She is set to marry Prince Kynd soon. Suddenly a tornado sucks Dorothy, Uncle Henry (Frank Alexander), Semon (Larry Semon), Hardy (Oliver Hardy) and Snowball (Spencer Bell) up and dumps them into Oz. The two farmhands and Snowball disguise themselves as the scarecrow, the tin woodsman and the lion. Together they make their way to right the wrong that perpetrated Oz. |
